Privacy Policy

RYNUE ("we," "our," or "us") operates the RYNUE mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: If you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID email address and name — only what you choose to share.
Health baseline: Age, weight, height, exercise level, sleep quality, diet, substance use, and stress level. Used solely to calculate your estimated cellular age. Never shared with third parties.
Fasting data: Start times, end times, protocol type, duration, and water intake for each fast.
Journal entries: Text you write during fasting sessions. Treated as sensitive personal data.
Daily check-ins: Optional energy and mood ratings.
Coach conversations: If you use the AI coach (RYNUE Black), the messages you write are collected so the coach can respond and so your conversation history is available to you.
We do not collect your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or any data unrelated to fasting.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To operate and improve the App.
- To calculate your estimated cellular age based on your lifestyle inputs and fasting activity.
- To send fasting reminders and milestone notifications — only if you enable them.
- To restore your data when you sign in on a new device.
We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to any third party.
3. Data Storage and Security
Guest users: All data is stored locally on your device. We have no access to it. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes it.
Signed-in users: Data is stored on Supabase (supabase.com), a database provider that encrypts data at rest and in transit using industry-standard protocols.
Apple Sign-In: Authentication is handled entirely by Apple. We never see or store your Apple password or credentials.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
Supabase — our database provider for signed-in users, subject to Supabase's privacy policy.
Apple — for authentication via Sign in with Apple and for processing in-app purchases, subject to Apple's privacy policy.
RevenueCat — for managing subscriptions and purchase verification. RevenueCat receives your device ID and subscription status. Subject to RevenueCat's privacy policy.
PostHog — for anonymous product analytics (which screens are visited, which features are used). We do not share your health data, journal entries, or personal information with PostHog. Subject to PostHog's privacy policy.
Anthropic — powers the RYNUE Black AI coach. When you message a coach, the text you write and limited context (such as your current fasting phase and goal) are sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. Anthropic processes this content solely to produce the coach's reply and does not use it to train its models.
We do not share your health or fasting data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.
5. Data Retention
Signed-in users: Your data is retained until you delete your account. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your fasts, journal entries, and personal data.
Guest users: Data exists only on your device and is removed when you uninstall the App.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at bmanglanibusiness@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Children
RYNUE is not intended for individuals under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors under 13. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
